The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) has developed the Airport System and Policy Plan to be used by VTrans and airport sponsors to guide development of airports in Vermont in the coming years.
The Aviation Program has developed and commissioned Business Plans for the 9 State owned airports. The intent of the statewide business plans is to identify and recommend potential means of improving the financial performance of each state owned airport.
Recommendations were developed based upon knowledge of the mission, goals and background of the Sponsor and the Airport as well as the opportunities and challenges that are currently faced and could be faced at the Airports in the future.
